About
Who are we?
Founded in 2013 by Mes Younes Ameur and Tiago Múrias, our firm has established itself as a reference in youth law in Quebec — both in youth protection (YPA) and youth criminal justice (YCJA).
Ameur & Múrias has also built a solid reputation in criminal law, pleading at all levels: Court of Quebec, Superior Court (including jury trials) and Quebec Court of Appeal.
Our lawyers have developed recognized expertise in the most demanding cases, particularly those involving national security and terrorism, at trial and on appeal — rare matters requiring a deep command of applicable law, evidence and strategy.
Active members of the AAADJM, the AADM and several committees and bodies, our lawyers are part of a community of jurists committed to defending individual rights and, more specifically, the rights of children and youth.
